County talks storage issues

Commissioner Mike Kerschner said commissioners needed to discuss selling the old county commissioners building, 81 Jefferson St., and the home of the Juvenile and Probate courts, 108 Jefferson St.

He said the former board home costs the county about $8,000 a year in upkeep and had issues that would continue to cost the county moving forward.

3,000 lose AEP power

Nearly 3,000 American Electric Power customers were without power Tuesday afternoon.

Chief Kevin Veletean of Tiffin Fire Rescue Division said high winds caused a limb to fall on electric lines at Greenfield and Prospect streets.

'Sting' ends in arrest

A man was charged after a drug-related "sting" operation in Tiffin Sunday night.

A release from Seneca County Drug Task Force - METRICH Enforcement Unit states Todd M. Reisner, 44, of Findlay, was charged with trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

Jackson Twp. crash injures 2

A Risingsun woman was in serious condition at a Toledo hospital Monday night after being involved in a Jackson Township crash Monday afternoon.

A spokesman for the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Rebecca House, 60, first was taken by ambulance to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital and then went to ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
