Man charged with aggravated robbery

A man was indicted by a Seneca County grand jury in connection to an armed robbery at Bettsville's Dollar General store about two years ago.

Zenus J. Hurley, 39, was charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, court records state.

His case is to be heard by Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff.

Hurley's brother, Dorsel A. Hurley, 47, had been charged with complicity to aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. His case was dismissed in December 2014, court records state.

Angela Boes, assistant Seneca County prosecutor, said Dorsel Hurley's case was dismissed for further investigation. She said she was not sure whether the case would be refiled.

The store is located at 3949 W. SR 12.
